Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood has said that he will always need a band around him when making music, a strange statement considering the recent release of his debut solo effort, the soundtrack to 'Bodysong'.
That said, Greenwood had help throughout the recording of the soundtrack. Thom Yorke suggested song titles, brother Colin helped with programming and bass duties, and the whole band helped to cut Greenwood's original number of tracks, which filled two CDs, by half.
Greenwood said: "I think I'd only do a solo project again if everyone else wanted to stop... it's clear to me that Radiohead's always going to be at least five times better because there's five of us. That's what I spend my time on really."
