R.Kelly has been granted permission to leave his home state of Illinois to tour for the second time in three months, despite court-imposed conditions detaining him in the state.

Kelly, or R if you prefer, has been on bond since his arrest on child pornography allegations. Bond conditions ban him from leaving Illinois, but the court has ignored objections from a number of local prosecutors and permitted a handful of tour dates.

Kelly will perform in Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Hampton. Dates in Texas and New York are planned, but are still subject to court approval. Wherever Kelly goes, he must return to Chicago by November 4th. He will appear in court again on December 1st.

Kelly has also contributed a new track to the forthcoming greatest hits collection from Michael Jackson.

R.Kelly Granted Tour Despite Pornography Allegations

I'm writing from the UK, and i've been an R.Kelly fan from day 1. Bottom line R still has an enormous fan-base world wide and as long as theres a demand to see him live and as long as he still loves performing then I fully condone any court decisions to permit such tours. Hopefuly the upcoming tours in America will prove successful and R will consider coming to the UK. That would be magical.

R's a decent guy - he loves his fans and i think half the reason why he is so adament to continue touring is because he feels his owes his fans so much for supporting him through all hes been through. And on top of all that - he's a legend!

I dont know why people are surprise by what has happened to Michael and R. Kelly. The fact is that the black man has always been a target. In the old days it was the rape charges and we can all rememeber that famous case when that woman drowned her children and claimed it was done by a black man. These latest allegations are not about what the KKK can do its about what black people are going to do. It time we make it clear that we wont take this SHIT anymore.
