More bands should make one album and split anyway - i mean intentionally, not in the 'wheres my demographic?' pop-idol/x-factor way.

Album was pretty good, too.

Rumours were going around that Dev was only in it to be famous and shit and his heart was never really in it. Looks like they'll be giving the Blood Brothers back their tunes now..

another example of how shit the music scene is at the moment, a band rapidly becomes in your face and then just as rapidly dissapears. alas what happened to the days when bands stuck around for at least 3 albums!

i thought they were a great band.
a good album with loads of potential.
interesting and controversial.
i am actually pretty gutted to hear that they've split.

i just hope that if they reform they'll get a less piss-take name.

i went to see them at the oxford zodiac, and although nervous they'd be shit after reading the DiS review on their leeds (i think) gig, thought they were great and really entertaining, and it was one of the best shows i've been to in a while, so i'm pretty sad to see them go. however like brainlove said above i'm sure they'll reform into different groups and hopefully carry on doing interesting music.

at the end of the day i'd rather have a song stuck in my head because i like it rather than it being rammed into my head repeatedly by jo whiley's radioplay (sugar we're what?)

p.s. the band name also mate me giggle like a small school girl when i first heard it. mature i know but, hey, it was fun while it lasted.

and the remix they've done of Alkaline Trio's Burn is 10x better than the original.

but it's difficult to care when they've split so soon. And I've still got the album afterall.

at least there is now Be Your Own Pet to fill the explosive-fun void

album is very good, and they were brilliant when I saw them at LSE in Nov. Sad to see them split.

when all is said and done, no one will remember them. domino have their hands full pressing enough franz f and artic m records. hopefully great bands like archi bronson outfit will get a break this year...best bands i saw this week, archi bronson and howling bells

Pretty unlikely. The Darkness are still around, although I much, much preferred Testicles' irony to theirs. Blearg.

"exhausted by the the touring" THats the music business boys. Depeche Mode did a world tour which last for 2 years for their "Violator" tour. Now that's REAL tour exhaustion!
