Black Rebel Visa Club
sean by Sean Adams March 10th, 2003
BRMC have sorted out their visa problem with a bit of help from Bono...

Black Rebel.. British drummer Nick Jago lived in the States when the San Francisco cool catz were hitting the big time, the thing was, he was breaking the law and the feds/rozzaz stopped him re-entering yankie-land. He basically couldn't get a visa.

Now, since Bono has written to the U.S. government on Jago’s behalf, he's finally been granted a 'work visa'. Whether Bono had anything to do with it remains to be seen.

On their official website it reads "Free At Last!!!" and he called the experience, that took over a year, "an exhausting effort".

In other BRMC news their next album has been titled 'Take Them On, On Your Own' but there’s no release date as yet.
