Reading 2003: Tix Onsale (V. Soon)
- Artists:
- Metallica »
Apparently, according to a mail from Mean Fiddler HQ, as of 6pm this evening (Jan 28th 2003!) a limited number of Reading Weekend Tickets (no mention of Leeds in the mail!) will be onsale to @ readingfestival.com priced at £95 (plus booking fees).
This year’s Reading Rock Extravaganza, featuring (the band who announced themselves) Metallica, takes place on 22nd - 24th August at the farm where it usually takes place: Richfield Avenue, Reading. The bills not been confirmed but will probably be announced in the next few weeks, as per usual, with bands confirmed right up to the day before.
To find out about stuff like this first, get yourself into the Mean Fiddler matrix, join their free "members club" here.
DiScuss: Is it taking the piss charging £100 for a festival that could have a terrible line-up? Who've you heard RUMOURED to be playing? Who do you WANT to see? What's the best Reading you've been to..?

bit of span wouldn't go amiss... queen adreena? they've picked up a lot of support over the past year, would be a good way to cement it...

Re: Reading 2003: Tix Onsale (V. Soon)
Wouldn't it be great if Mean Fiddler could have the days on the other stages in a similar way, so that so many bands you wanna see dont all play on the same day and clash - if you're into a certain thing that is. if you're into everything it's always crazy but might be a bit less chaotic.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
