Reuben: London Jan 30th - supports confirmed

Aldershot threesome =REUBEN= have been blasting their party-grunge around the country for the past week or two and next week it hits the nation's capital with a classy supporting cast.

We've tried our best to get the support bands we already know and love, and what with the majority of the most informed kidz, the British media and (let's not forget) the music industry, the London one @ the Garage, next Thursday 30th Jan, is really important.

Those of you coming (still a few tickets left, tho if Zane Lowe and Colin Murray keep bigging the show up we'll be upgrading to Brixton Academy!) you will see:

Engerica... unsigned, fiery, ironically-angry, "upstarts" from Southend who we've been raving about for about 18months now. They're on a Fierce Panda EP in Feb and have a one-single deal with Island. engerica.com

Jarcrew... strangely enough, they were due to play our Cardiff launch tonight but cancelled because Mean Fiddler have invited them to play an audition for Reading and we love 'em lots, so their raw-punk with electronica is sure to go down like a nice cold beer.

the reuben mailout

Right then hi to everyone, just a couple of things

First of all as you all know, the record is out on Monday so git saving yer
pennies - the site should be all updated and brown anytime now so keep
those peepers open.

Thanks sooo much to everyone who has voted for the video because it reached
Number One in the MTV2 chart today which is incredible! Keep it up, maybe
it will still be there on Monday! Also today we're appearing in quite a few
magazines, noticeably a big 'Rising' peice in Kerrang with a wicked photo
taken by the excellent Scarlet Page and a huge live review. Unfortunately,
we have also taken a few slaggings from the NME and even Kerrang, whose
reviewers weren't too chuffed with the single, but hey it's cool it's just
people's opinions, and what do you get if take pi out of opinions? Onions.

But! Kerrang have now playlisted our new video on their channel so there's
definitely no hard feelings there, they're giving us some massive support
and it's excellent. If you see the vid, phone in and make a request - don't
be shy!
