Idlewild: Let Go of Another Single

Idlewild have announced plans to release a new single next month.

'A Modern Way of Letting Go' will be the fourth single taken from the band's album 'The Remote Part'. It will be released on February 10th (just in time for valentines, awww!) and will be available across three formats - Limited Edition CD, DVD and Limited Edition 7". It is rumoured that they chose to release the song because they were worried that they were promoting their 'soft side' too much.

You can see the video for the single by going to the band's official site where you can also read Roddy's diary, where he's currently in China on holiday.

The band, complete with new line-up, continue their tour later this month. The dates are :

January
30th: Derry Nerve Centre
31st: Belfast Queens University

February
1st: Dublin Ambassador
3rd: Whitehaven Civic Hall + Colour of Fire
5th: Aberdeen Music Hall
6th: Glasgow Barrowlands
7th: Cardiff University

Modern way is the best song on Remote part. Its faaaar better than Stay the same. I was afraid they were gonna release tell me 10 words and turn into colplay. Maybe theyre releasing it to say 'HA Bob, we can still release a heavy song!'
