The band who prefaced their 3rd album with the words “Everything is for sale” will play the 800 capacity Cardiff St David's Hall in Cardiff on November 18 and admission is NOT to the general public, but tickets can be won from Carling's music website. Tickets are NOT for sale to anyone, especially not the mere punters who bought the records and put the band where they are nowadays...
All this from a band who have continually backed the under-privileged and whose members have had documented and public drink problems ... Meanwhile on the Carling Music website it promises you can “Win prizes that money can’t buy”. You can try to win tickets for the gig at www.carlinglive.com , but you do need to register our details and surrender your privacy.
The show will be taped and broadcast by Channel 4 at a later date: The band then continue to play a tour for the paying punters as announced here. And I bet they never read this , which was prompted by their last so-called 'secret' gig...
