Pistols: full party line-up
Sex Pistols in the Park... fuck the jubilee... good new bands.. blah, blah...
From a bit of snooping at sex-pistols.net we discovered the bill for Saturdays, Pistols in the Park, show at Crystal Palace Sports Centre, now features new punkers: The Libertines and The Rapture.
So, it kicks off at 2pm and Amen have been forced to cancel due to a wrist injury. But Trail O'Dead and the Dropkick Murphys are still playing. Tickets are a crazy £32.50 + booking fee and the events sponsored by Carling, which isn't very punk in our book, then again is Lydon still punk? But anyway, it's going to be good (A Bought Experience) and we're going along to review it.
You can read an interview/ranticle with John Lydon and buy tickets here although reports suggest it is already SOLD OUT.
