Last year saw Leeds duo worriedaboutsatan release their debut record, Arrivals. It was, and still is, a masterpiece of nocturnal electronica, with the odd bit of guitar-related content creeping in. There's been a few bits and bobs from them this year, including the equally excellent 'Heart Monitor' and the remix of White Hinterland's 'Icarus'.
They are gradually releasing more and more into the big wide world, though, and it's for that reason we're here now as we've got a listen to a track which appears on a compilation record of covers, featuring the likes of Nadja, Architect and Pale Sketcher. It's called The Reconstruction Of Fives, by the way.
The track worriedaboutsatan cover, is Plastik Joy's rather lengthily titled '63 (She Was Trying To Sleep I Was Trying To Breathe)'. You can listen to it below. 7.47 of wonderment.
All those strings have tied me up, well and truly.
