The people behind brand spanking new London superclub Matter have announced This Is Not London, a new series of artist and label curated events beginning on October 3rd.
The first in the series sees Matter play host to Simian Mobile Disco, Dusty Kid, Shit Robot, Lindstrom, Emperor Machine, Riton, Nadia Kasabia, Foamo and Adventures Close To Home. James Murphy and Pat Mahoney from DFA Records also curate a night, October 24th, with a lineup including Yacht, amongst others.

25th – Justice A Cross the Universe Documentary Release Tour featuring Justice (DJ set), Busy P, DJ Mehdi, So Me and Something Special from Durr (£15 Early Bird)

no! this palce is awful and characterless. i went to moshi moshi birthday party...the security were opressive and controlling the drinks were extremely overpriced £4 for a bottle of shit beer. yuck. they didnt know how to handle the sound for live music...the usual clientelle of this place also turned up and were a bunch of loutish, sleazy morons. "i fort dis woz a daarrnce club". the security wouldnt let the rest of slow club on stage for the last song...awful awful awful place...i hope it burns down!
