Indie-pop's sweetest souls Spinto Band re-enact Gremlins 2?!
This is simply too strange to ignore. Head over to the always excellent Daytrotter.com and you’ll find US indie types The Spinto Band – whose new record Moonwink arrives on these shores next week – reading out a scene from the ‘novel adaptation’ of the Phoebe Cates’ motion picture classic, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, as part of Daytrotter’s Bookery Sessions. That’s right, Gremlins 2.
This of course begs the question: if water is spilt on a cuddly indie band and you accidentally feed them after midnight, will they multiply and run amok in your town? The mind boggles.

are really ace
amazing!
treasure of the cisne was awesome.
This album improves on their debut in almost every single way
it's the album to me which shows the Spinto Band as more then just a 1 hit wonder/flutter. Their debut was good but lacked anything, tbis album was soooo important in terms of... what can the band bring to the table? They have matured and have crafted an album as opposed to a collection of songs, all of which are either great or good.
