Watch: Mystery Jets announce new release, October dates

Even though at least one of them is currently laid back in hospital, Eel Pie oddities Mystery Jets are back with another lump of Twenty One (review) for you, this time in the form of ‘Half In Love With Elizabeth’, out on August 25 through 679.

But what’s that? The squawking sound of two parrots jabbering away? Why yes! Former chart favourite Kate Nash features on ‘Disco Liz’ whilst current chart favourite and Duchess of York doppelganger Florence and the Machine appears on a new version of ‘Flakes’ as b-sides for the release. Check the video for the single below.

Those Jets are also on tour this autumn. See:

Describing Kate Nash as a "squawking parrot"?

That's actually just wrong.

people were saying that Mogwai's new video is bad.

that is certainly one of the most ridiculous

video-as-interpretations ever

Come on

that's a great video, slightly ruins the song for me, granted, but still amusing.
