Over yonder, a wondering prophet.
As we’ve already been over, Mike Skinner – yes, The Streets – is back. Six years on from Original Pirate Material Skinner returns with Everything Is Borrowed, out September 15.
Following on from 2006’s Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living the Birmingham tyke has decided to try to woo your possibly waning attentions by making the debut track from the record, ‘The Escapist’ (video below), available for free from today (DOWNLOAD). It’s an early indication that the guy has really taken the ‘poet’ tag to heart:
The Streets also perform across the UK throughout October:

Well - you implied it.
Heard this last night on Channel 4.
It's fucking awful.

Gorgeous
I've heard the sampler from the new album and I think the Dodo track may annoy me but I actually love this track. Obviously his last album didn't come as easily as the first two, but hopefully he is back on track. This is definately not 'GASH'. Lovely. One of my favourite British lyricists.
good day
darcy 118, I will be calling you for some loving later today.
WOW
He actually sounds great again, lovely stuff. I'm actually looking forward to the new album now.
