in some respect
but there have been similar sized bands headlining main stages at bothe Glastonbury and Reading (strokes, Linkin park, Killers etc)

clearly good songwriters, but i just cant get over the voice, it makes me feel slightly ill.
Surely, Linkin Park/Killers at least are several times larger
in terms of volume of records sold?
they're intimate dates
the band sold out 4 nights at brixton academy last time around (and did two instantly sold out nights at the roundhouse earlier in the year). I'd wager they're doing this one for their fans before doing some huuuuge stadium shows.
