Watch: Sigur Rós mincing around doing new album stuff
- Artists:
- Sigur Rós »
Icelandic glaciers Sigur Rós have a new album out in the future. It might even be that it arrives in the near future i.e. this summer, but we don’t know because we can’t understand a damn thing they’re saying. Still – they’ve had the decency to communicate what might happen visually, in the form of this video.
It shows them working on the new record in a studio, rifling through various artwork options, giggling, singing, team-nailing chicks – all those things you imagined the band got up to during its time in the studio.

This sounds like it will be even more boring
than their pompous dirge-athon records. Ooh, look outside the studio window guys - there goes Mr Tune skipping into the distance and waving.
i like them
always good to have something different floating around :-)

too true, basil, too true.
Whoever posted this onto the front page
Hasn't closed the italic bracket on the headline so most of the front page fonts are slanted now.
Sounds
Awesome. Especially the piano track at the start of the second vid.
"Mincing around"
is such a great term to use when the lead singer is gay.
Imbecile.
