"DiS faves Los Campesinos!"
I can really see that this piece if engineered entirely towards a bum love of LC! Surely DiS, like everyone else in the world, are allowed to have bands they like as well, or do they have to change their tastes every week?
Los Campesinos! are currently
one of the most popular bands on DiS - FACT.
They are also headlining one of the UK's most innovative new festivals - FACT.
Therefore this news story is a relevant source of information rather than "a rimming" or "bum love" although I've heard people say certain members of LC! could do with a good shitboxing but hey ho an' all that...
Can I be...
...the first to quietly sidestep the issue in the comments above and just say, er, Yay!
If DiS want to give love to LC!, bum related or other, that's their business.
i was in fact
trying to defend DiS. im not sure if that came across very well.
i'm pretty sure
that every other festival headliner has been announced in a news item on here, so it's pretty consistent to me. and i'm glad indietracks is getting the coverage it deserves this year.
'bum love'
Currently on their myspace and the advert at the top is for gay-partnership.co.uk
Has this thread screwed up the advertising software they have on myspace?
The sad thing is
that Los Campesinos could be good if only they didn't have that guy on vocals.
Seriously his voice is absolutely disgustingly embarrassingly atrocious.
every time I see Indietracks mention
I just think MOTHERFUCKING COMET GAIN! WOOO!
Not fussed about Los Campesinos!, but it's good to have a broadly popular headliner I guess. Hope it's as LOVELY as last years was.
wrong wrong wrong indeed.
may have to go to this. bobby mcgees! beards! LC!
