i was just about to
leap to the defence of the whip, but i've realised i have never actually heard them on record and i was completely shit-faced when i saw them live
so, carry on, i suppose. i'm off to determine if i actually like them or not
scathing Diver
its easy to hide behind yr quill and ink eh?
Srsly though i think they're quite good fun. So nerr
I quite like The Whip live.
Not so much on record, but they do a good live performance.
But then again I'm 15, so I'm not old, boring or patronising enough to have an opinion.
I'm not sure why they're playing Academy3.
Barring The Courteeners i'd say they're easily the most popular local band. I think they could fill Academy1 quite easily. I wouldn't pay to see it like, but...
thinking similar thoughts
but then Academy 3, I think anyway, makes for the best atmosphere. You can get to the front easy enough and also to the bar and still see the band.
