Tabloids lie: there's Klaxons, there's football and never the twain shall meet + album news
"Righton's threatening, apparently, to cover ‘Diamond Lights’ as originally performed by former Tottenham players Chris Waddle and Glenn Hoddle. Though of course that’s the sort of detail the Sun could quite easily make up."
In fact they made the whole thing up. The so-ridiculous-it-must-be-true story DrownedinSound published about, oh, five minutes ago stating that Klaxons and CSS would be playing at Roman Abramovich’s daughter’s 16th birthday party has been rubbished by the former band’s management.
So, the acts will not be performing for the billionaire oligarch at a posh West London club next month, as incorrectly reported in the Sun this morning. Neither will there be an ocean of gold.
It doesn’t sound like we’ll be hearing any Klaxons tracks produced by Tony Visconti either, as incorrectly reported in NME this week. Spurs fan James Righton, Jamie Reynolds, Simon Taylor-Davis and Steffan Halperin aren’t working with Visconti, “or Focus, or Dre, or anyone,” according to management.
Instead, the band have been writing for the last three months and are now in Milan, laying down tracks with regular producer James Ford.
There’s no release date envisioned as of yet, further than the probability that it’ll be with us early in 2009.

No need to do second albums now for these bands...unless the deal is more like the episode of the Simpsons were Mr Burns is after Marge and kidnaps Tom Jones.
I wonder if Ms Abramovich could sue
for falsely linking her name to shit bands?
That second album...
Take your time lads, take your time.
come on...
what happened to people waiting 3 years between albums?
