Supersonic 2008: additions, tickets on sale in April

Supersonic organisers Capsule have confirmed new names for 2008's three-day festival in Birmingham, held on July 11-13.
Most interesting among the new additions: Gravetemple, the band formed in 2006 featuring Sunn O)))'s Stephen O'Malley alongside Orem Ombarchi and Mayhem's Attila Csihar. The trio will be joined by Julian Cope for their Supersonic set, at the Custard Factory, Digbeth.
Also new: Asva, featuring Stuart Dahlquist of Burning Witch/Goatsnake, Trey Spurance and Edgy 59. And the 'Osaka Invasion', featuring DJ Scotch Egg and more.
Tickets for the event go on sale in April; links will appear on DiS as oon as we have them. Other confirmed acts for the DiS-sponsored event:
Battles, Harvey Milk, Wooden Shjips, Efterklang, PCM, dalek, The Owl Service, Earth, Thrones, Harmonia, Justice Yeldman, Max Tundra, Guapo, Orthodox, Black Sun, Oxbow, Einstellung and Magnetaphone.
