Continuing a recent theme, strong-jowled guitar-pop singer KT Tunstall has recorded a version of Bloc Party's 'The Prayer'.
The track will feature on the b-side of Tunstall's new single 'If Only', along with a version of the Bangles' 'Walk Like An Egyptian'.

And, seeing as you asked for it...
'If Only' will be released on the 3rd of March.

fair to say
that doesnt really work.
Genuinely sounds like
if you gathered up your mum and the family dog, got her drunk, took her to a fancy recording studio and told her to knock out a cover of The Prayer in an hour.
I saw the words
KT tunstall
and then
Bloc Party.
And then I clicked.
I knew better.
Why did I click?
WHY?
god her voice fucking
winds me up
and her stupid
munchkin face
her face is lovely
you are the stupid munchkin
Well said
Her face IS lovely. And she is lovely. Even if her choice of covers does leave a lot to be desired.
i thought
the headline would be followed by "not really", and details of something impossibly cool would be revealed..
this
sounds like cerys matthews doing the prayer on karaoke. ie terrible
What he said ^^^^
Not convinced about the Bloc Party cover though.
i wish she was 'covering'
in the same way that a dog 'covers' a bitch. that's a much more satisfying image.
Her voice is shit on this track, but I would.
Wouldn't you?
Shame
Not really liking the Bangles song either! But thanks for putting it up, anyway.
Yay! BoyDeadly FTW
*does the dance*
I still think...
...that Bloc Party are shit, with the exceptions of She's Hearing Voices (the proper version, not the ruined album one) and Flux.
Thanks.
