Howlin' Rain to release second long-player
Comets on Fire man Ethan Miller is concentrating on new things now that his other band are on hiatus - his Howlin’ Rain will release a second album on the 28th of April.
Magnificent Fiend is the follow-up to 2006’s self-titled debut, is the first release from the twin stables of Birdman and Rick Rubin’s American label and will feature the following tracks:
‘Requiem’
‘Dancers at the End of Time’
‘Calling Lightning Pt. 2’
‘Lord Have Mercy’
‘Nomads’
‘El Rey’
‘Goodbye Ruby’
‘Riverboat’
Recorded by The Fucking Champs’s Tim Green, Howlin' Rain will also head out on tour with Black Mountain before heading to SXSW.

They're playing Pitchfork ATP also
I like what I've heard.
finally!
Howlin Rain rule
however, they're not a sideline anymore: as Comets On Fire are on hiatus, this is Ethan Miller's main band now
also, John Moloney from Sunburned Hand Of The Man is no longer playing drums with them (though Sunburned did open for Howlin Rain at the Scala last November)
aplogies for being a pedant
but you've confused the band name and album title in the last sentence - Howlin Rain will be touring with Black Mountain (as opposed to 'Magnificent Fiend', which is the name of the record)
not sure there's an apostrophe, either:
sorry
i'll go now
one last thing
it's 'Magnificent Fiend' (as in an evil spirit or demon)
not friend
apologies again
tidy
fingers crossed the UK release follows soon after
and John Moloney is still in Sunburned Hand Of The Man (he's just not playing drums with Howlin Rain anymore- didn't express myself very well before!)
