Black Box Recorder are currently in talks with four major record labels, all looking to sign the band after previous label, Nude, went into voluntary liquidation
Singer Sarah Nixsey has commented: "We're in a strong bargaining position because we've already recorded our third album so we're all ready to go."
The band, containing Absinth importer John Moore and ex of The Auteurs, Luke Haines, had recorded their third album after the end of Haines' 'Pop Strike' and aimed to release it in 2002, with Nude leaving the scene, it will now be out on whichever major they sign to.
