I think people here are missing the point. It doesn't matter if you like her music or not.

I know how i feel when i go to see a quieter gig and people are constantly talking and not listening to the music. You know, i'm not talking about a few words. "your turn to get the beers in" i'm talking about loud conversations. If people aren't there for the music, then why are they there? If i'd paid a high ticket price for a second or third row seat, and had people constantly coming and going in front of me i would be fairly irate. I would be thanking the artist for having the strength to say something about it.

i don't understand why some of the comments on this thread are defending people who ruin gigs for other people,defending the arragent and the rude.

The thread in the forum went pretty much the same way. People ranting about how they hate Tori Amos rather than commenting on the actual story.

having said that, I did hear Professional Widow on Saturday night and forgot what a brilliant track that was and how, it should be dug out for dj purposes very soon.

but then again I'd do anything...
