Flakey: Tori Amos tells fans to fuck off
- Artists:
- Tori Amos »
Tori Amos let fly a volley of abuse at female audience members at a recent show in San Diego.
The singer was so irked by their constant coming and going and coming and going that she stopped halfway through a performance of _‘Code Red’ to suggest that they _“get the fuck out”.
Or rather: “Get the fuck out of my show! Get the fuck out! It's a privilege to sit in the front row and I reserve those seats for people who appreciate music, get the fuck out!"
The women left the Copley Symphony Hall to widespread whooping. See for yourself below, after about two and a half minutes:

She's a ginger...
.. I'd rather not.
nothing about her being ginger
but i would not.
I thought that this was DiS
not Nuts magazine (he says, finally putting his comment in the right place)
Wow...
that doesn't seem very Tori-like. But I'm impressed with her for having the guts to do that.
Not her finest hour, that song.
But fair play all the same.
Sure
When Bill Hicks does it, he's a HERO, but when Tori decides enough's enough, she's "FLAKEY"!! :D
what a flippin legend
good on her!
The Copley is a nice venue
but I bet a Tori concert there will have attracted a lot of mid-late thirties types keen for the social occasion...
I dunno if she's better off waiting until the end of song to politely ask them to sit down before chucking them though...
I fucking...
HATE tori amos. HATE.
there is nothing more
annoying than someone walking about whilst you're singing your heart out.
Dog + cunt + awful music
What a fucking abomination of a person.
I hate her. I'd never even heard her before. Now I hope she gets fucked stabbed.
*fucking stabbed.
lolol
PS.
Maybe not. I hope she gets a hot pizza thrown at her face instead.
Yeah.
More like
"Go fuck yourselves, San Diego!"
missing the point
I think people here are missing the point. It doesn't matter if you like her music or not.
I know how i feel when i go to see a quieter gig and people are constantly talking and not listening to the music. You know, i'm not talking about a few words. "your turn to get the beers in" i'm talking about loud conversations. If people aren't there for the music, then why are they there? If i'd paid a high ticket price for a second or third row seat, and had people constantly coming and going in front of me i would be fairly irate. I would be thanking the artist for having the strength to say something about it.
i don't understand why some of the comments on this thread are defending people who ruin gigs for other people, defending the arragent and the rude.

well said
there
Yes, well said
The thread in the forum went pretty much the same way. People ranting about how they hate Tori Amos rather than commenting on the actual story.
She needs
a good hard shag...
Oh get over yourself, Tori.. it's hardly a speech on world peace... Prima Donna!
having said that, I did hear Professional Widow on Saturday night and forgot what a brilliant track that was and how, it should be dug out for dj purposes very soon.
I'd do her
but then again I'd do anything...
never got tori amos
the song she is playing sounds like a bad bit of incidental music on dog the bounty hunter or something
A few of the comments on here...
...are disgusting.
