Portishead ATP: stage times
- Artists:
- Portishead »
- Aphex Twin »
After confirming the final additions to the bill last week, ATP have released the stage times for next weekend’s Portishead-curated event at Butlins Holiday Centre in Minehead.
Portishead and Aphex Twin will be both play two sets each at the festival. Every attendee will be guaranteed entrance to at least one of the Portishead shows, with a wristband system in place to ensure this – if you’re going you’ll be asked at check-in which day you’d prefer, (Friday or Saturday) and assigned as such.
If you’re planning to arrive after the Friday evening performance or leave before the Saturday show, contact feedback AT atpfestival DOT COM and they’ll hold back the appropriate number of wrist bands.
The Aphex Twin shows will be first come first served on the night, and then a one in one out system after capacity’s reached.

aphex twin
for two hours in the middle of the night?
holy shizzle.
So many clashes...
Sad face.
what?
1.30am-3.30am?
middle of the night?
proplus?
Holy shit, look where Team Brick is on the bill.
Good job DiS was hot on the trail with the most in-depth interview yet published about this Hott New Talent!
That Sunday lineup..
John Cooper Clarke into Boris into Earth into Sunn o)))? About as good as days get, really.
total truth
if only it didn't clash exactly with the stuff on the other stage. oh well.
except boris
clashes with your namesake!
what a 5 hour stretch
Boris, Earth , Sunno)))
i'd like to see george lamb get a ticket and be chained to one of the amps at the front-
portishead and AFX twice!!!!
OMG!!!
i suspect
it will be a similar situation to the sonic youth / stooges sets last year - you get a coloured wristband that gives you entry to one but not the other.
as the news story says
you can only see Portishead once but can, in theory, go to both Aphex Twin sets. Which I probably will do.
oh yeah
i totally didn't bother reading that :D
sex wee in my pants
You will find me bouncing off walls, slumped in corners and basking in drones all weekend.
What a real shame the Horrors clash with Glenn Branca, sorry boys but you were never in it at all for me.
I will have to study this more in depth to see if there are any real clash problems. Damo and Boris makes me cry but hopefully one stage will be running late or something.
which stage is centre and which is pavillion?
I forgot.
I thought Pavillion was the massive one which was a bit rubbish last time because it was so bright and stuff...
but the idea of portishead playing in the smaller stage upstairs makes me think I'll be spending half the weekend in a queue.
You're correct
But you'll only be seeing Portishead once so no queue (I hope). Aphex will be another matter altogether but the ambience will be worth the wait.
This line up
is extraordinary.
One of the most interesting, unusal and varied ATPs to date. I am very excited.
im gonan have to see portishead on the saturday
as im not missing thurston on friday! this fest has become clash fest! hope i can get a saturday portishead wristband
