New Franz Ferdinand and Royal We side-act Correcto will play their first live dates after the release of their debut single.

‘Joni’ will be released on the 5th of November, through Domino. The video, which – appropriately – looks like the ‘Daydream Nation’ one and sounds like Magazine, is located below.

Two shows in a day? The Rough Trade instore kicks off at 7pm, while bands usually go on at Durrr roundabout midnight.

Sounds like Magazine

in the same way that Kate Nash sounds like Nico.
Could I point out, however, that it sounds exactly like early period Soup Dragons.
Must be something in the water in Glasgow.

I've just realised who royal we (blue jacket man in that picture) man is

I see him all over the place, including somerfield. I thought he looked like he should be in a band or something. He is probably the most "indie" person ever. He has a "geek chic" haircut, wears incredibly skinny jeans, and I saw him rifling through the obscure american punk records at a record fair a few weeks back. It's a shame that I think his band is rubbish.
