WIN! Tickets to Muse... in New York!

Muse are playing Madison Square Garden in New York in August, and you can be there... providing you're in the city at the time, that is.

DiS has a pair of tickets to give away for the Devon prog-rock trio's headline show at New York's famous Madison Square Garden on August 6; support comes from V2-signed Cold War Kids. At $40-plus a pop these tickets ain't cheap, so if you're in NYC on the day in question and fancy going to a gig - a flippin' good gig at that - for diddly nowt, do answer this question:

If you snooze you could well lose, but if you Muse, do you...
A) Booze?
B) Cruise?
C) Schmooooooze?

Send your answer to mike DOT diver AT drownedinsound DOT com right away, writing Matt Bellamy Is So FINE in the subject line. The winner will be notified by e-mail. Competition closes at the end of May.

NOTE: DiS will not be flying winners to New York, nor paying for hotels or anything. If you win and need to travel and/or stop in a hotel, you must pay for it. We ain't made of money, you know.

Tickets for the Madison Square Garden show go on sale this Sunday, May 6, at 11am. They're available online from Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 212-307-7171. Assuming the show doesn't sell out in a day, tickets will be available from the venue's box office on Monday, May 7.

40 dollars

that's like 20 quid (anglaisi pounds)

that is pretty cheap to see muse (£45 for wembley ticket)...
obviously flights and accom would slightly polarise that.

:-/

LOL

pretty much the worst competition ever.

Congrats to the lucky New Yorker who stumbles across this on Google and gets to go to the gig as a result.

I've had plenty of entries...

...actually.

We do have readers in places other than the UK, you know.

I'm tempted to enter

regardless of the cost of getting there...

And 40 bucks is pretty cheap to see Muse!
Even the arena tour last year was around £30 a pop, and none of those venues were quite as iconic as Madison Square Garden!

Only on DrownedinSound...

... would people COMPLAIN about being given the chance to win something which is rather good.

Nah

You're forgetting that Muse aren't a band for people with "taste". /endsarcasm.

mmmmmmm

Matt Bellamy IS so fine.

Though in that picture Brett Anderson does look kind of like him. And not in the good way.
