Metronomy, Noisettes, These New Puritans + More set for London War Child show
War Child, the charity who actively highlight the plight of children in war-affected areas of the world, have announced a London late night show.
‘Army of You’ will feature the lengthy and rather hip line-up of: The Noisettes + These New Puritans + Friendly Fires + Late Of The Pier + Fear of Flying + Video Nasties + Metronomy + The Rakes (dj set) + Filthy Dukes (dj set) + Kissy Sell Out (dj set) + Punks Jump Up (dj set) + more tbc
The event takes place on Thursday 24 May, and runs from 7pm – 2am at Koko, Camden. Tickets cost a very reasonable £12.00 and are available from the usual vendors like www.ticketweb.com or www.koko.uk.com

ive seen several of these bands live. Theyre terrible. At least if you go youll give money to war child.
LOTP + Metronomy live...
Are certainly not terrible. Opposite infact. I've always fancied seeing These New Puritans as well... £12 looks a bargain.
I found metronomy
were dire crappiness. And Lotp. Sorry.
Basically ive spent afternoons with my brother and nothing but a casio keyboard and a recorder and produced similar stuff. Live the only thing going was the crowd response. They just stood there while everyone went crazy for no good reason whatsoever. I left midway inot the third track they played.
Looks like a good line up
but I'd rather eat someone else's snot than go to Koko ever again.
I thought
TNP had split up?
i think....
you should put this stuff up and try and get onto the next War Child line up at Koko with your brother.
looking forward to the night
Where'd you hear that?
Fingers x'd it's rubbish.
They were gonna play Kill All Hippies last friday
So they're very much together....
Until the drummer cracked his head open setting up his kit
Wow, that line-up is refreshing.
Oops, my bad.
