New Oasis Single This Autumn??

It has been announced that a new Oasis single will be released in the Autumn, probably sometime in October.

The news was revealed by Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher in an interview conducted in Japan, where Oasis are making their debut at the Fuji Rock Festival.

An album will follow in the New Year, according to Gallagher, and would contain songs written by him, Andy Bell, Gem Archer and, his brother Liam Gallagher.

Speaking about Oasis' plans for the rest of the year, he said: "We're halfway through recording a new album, we have a show in Thailand...and we leave to finish off the record. We've got a single out in October."
