Line-up announcement: The Eden Sessionzzz
Organisers behind the now annual Eden Sessions series - held, of course, at the Eden Project in Cornwall - have really pushed the boat out this year, booking artists at the very cutting edge of their chosen fields.
Only they haven't, obviously. This is maybe the safest bill we've ever seen. But it's not like they're all crap, so...
July
2 James Morrison (pictured after unfortunate glue-on-hand-on-chin incident)
10 Rufus Wainwright
17 Amy Winehouse
18 Lily Allen
21 Bright Eyes
Yup. Those are some acts alright.

Meh
Only the addition of James Blunt could make that lineup any more Ballsack.
Bright Eyes are fine
but everything else is depressingly MOR.
We are just
The Feeling and James Blunt away from a mass suicide!
Grrrr
I'd heard rumors that Arcade Fire would be doing one, was looking forward to it!
There is still another one to be announced
which will apparently be either Scissor Sisters (yawn) or Pet Shop Boys...bleurgh. I'm going to Bright Eyes and Lily Allen, and very excited about it too! Often, the support acts are really good, and a lot more "cutting edge" than the headliners - eg, Keane were supported by Editors, Ian Brown by Lady Sov...I reckon the supports will be as good, if not better.
I would have gone...
if it was The Arcade Fire but that line up is just totally dull and not worth leaving the house for.
tempted for bright eyes and for lily purely becuase
i have fancied her for over a year.
I Think Arcade Fire Are..
confirmed for this year's Latitude. Haven't seen anything about that on DIS.
yep...
Everyone's hoping it will be Arcade Fire but honestly, is there a free day in their schedule for the rest of this year??
Not SO bad
Given Keane played last year I'm not that upset - they could have subjected us to the same again! Bright eyes will be damn good (hopefully) and happy to watch a bit of Rufus. Not excited about lily Allen or the Winehouse though - all those tattoos don't scare me, i could have either of them in a fight...
