Donation site set up to help J. Robbins' ill son
Posted:
Members of J. Robbins' family, as well as a number of the singer/guitarist/producer's friends, have set up a website to accept donations to help his unwell son.
Robbins - previously of Jawbox and Burning Airlines and currently of Channels - and his wife recently discovered that their ten-month-old son, Callum, has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic conditition considered life threatening.
Robbins is highly acclaimed for his production work, too, and has worked with The Dismemberment Plan, Pilot To Gunner and Jets To Brazil. If anyone wishes to help him pay for his son's treatment, they can do so by visiting the link below.

That sucks
J is the man
-
This is absolutely tragic.
The man has worked tirelessly and altruistically for nigh on 20 years, recording and producing since being in Government Issue. Given so much to music.

Lets hope
that everyone who uses DIS makes a donation
