Boon and Robb join Strummer Live...
The Strummer Live Music Series - in conjunction with Strummer magazine - which is due to take place on the Fylde Coast at The Rossall Tavern, Fleetwood and the Liquid Lounge, Blackpool between October and December '05 today announced that John Robb (The Membranes, Goldblade, respected author/journalist and TV pundit) will be one of the judges for the series.
Also on-board for what promises to be one of the most interesting events for unsigned bands this year is Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets, The Clint Boon Experience and noted DJ).
The event has attracted some quality incentives with two days in a top recording studio (Jaraf House) and backing from one of Manchester's music PR companies (Fistral PR) on offer to the most impressive band. To enter, bands need to send in a single mp3 file along with brief band details and a contact number to:
cartouchesolutions@lycos.co.uk
Bands must be unsigned and perform original material to enter.
A choice of dates will be on offer to early applicants and
the closing date for entries is September 30th.
