they're released at least two that I know of. the first one was called "king biscuit time sings nelly foggits blues in 'me and the pharoahs'"
it was great.
it was great.
Re: C I am King Biscuit Time: Beta Band man returns
The Beta Band made very mediocre music other than (of course) the moments of genius on their first 3 EPs. Steve Mason isn't a great frontman. His voice is weak and monotone. I do not have high hopes for KBT.

SHUT THE WHOLE THING DOWN! FLACKCAPTAIN HAS HIS DOUBTS!
C I am King Biscuit Time: Beta Band man returns
The Beta Band made beautiful forward looking music combining all that is fuckin class about folk, hip-hop, gregorian chants and dub. unfortunately the zeitgeist is determined by conservative morons writing for the NME who spend their days wanking off to "rocks new messiah" dinosaurs like the Strokes and sucking Pete Dohertys lesion-riddled half incher.
Long live King Tubby!

Saw KBT at the Night & Day last night and they were excellent. Played C I AM 15 twice (a disappointing choice for the lead single as everything else played sounded so much better), a brilliant solo acoustic version of Dr Baker and a chintzy dub version of Anarchy In The UK. I Walk The Earth was the highlight. New album will be well worth checking out.
Re: C I am King Biscuit Time: Beta Band man returns
i logged on this morning, all excited and wanting to write about how fucking great they were on Saturday in Cardiff. But it appears that the ledge has pre-empted it all... walk the earth was indeed superb, and the anarchy encore was very entertaining. it was definitely NOT that much of a departure from the old beta band stuff - in fact, i'd say that it was more beta band than the last couple of albums they released. fucking great gig, and i can't wait to get hold of the album. glad he's back.
