Smashing Pumpkins' Corgan unveils new songs in LA
The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan performed in Los Angeles last night, playing four new songs.
Not one of the new songs had a title, reports NME.com; Corgan appeared unsettled at the show, at the Hotel Cafe, and repeatedly retuned his guitar.
Other performers on the evening included E from Eels, The Who's Pete Townshend, and Minnie Driver.
Organiser Rachel Fuller remarked that Corgan was nervous, adding that he'd not played live for a long time. He's also bald, and has been that way since '1979'.

What about the Molko?
That's a much more irritating whine, shurely?
Mr Corgan
Is a big bald god, I'll have you know.
Yeah
I wanna hear this new stuff...his voice aint that bad Prole.
on record, maybe
Live, though, Corgan's voice is terrible. And I say that as a Smashing Pumpkins fanatic.

I just can`t listen to it. so flat
It conveys a hell of a lot more emotion and mood
Than 90% of wanky normal vocally type bands. So there.
well
both voices can be annoying at time, but both bands are utterly godlike more often than not
On a different note
This means a new album soonish i guess. Will it be good? Probably not, but I will get it anyway.
best
voice and all, he did help write on of the best albums of the 1990's in mellon collie

dang
i'd have gone down and seen this if i'd known :'(
it'll probably be crap
but I don't care, so long as they tour and play lots of old stuff. The very idea makes me palpitate slightly.
Little Gig
Stuff Billy C, what a crack it would haver been to see Pete Townshend in Hotel Cafe, which is about the size of downstairs at the Barfly.
Intimate rockin stuff
Yes
Apparently they were working with Roy Thomas Baker for a spell, him off of doing Queen and The Darkness.
