Q Awards: Take That "bollocks" Idols, while Liam's at the zoo...
Take That (pictured) picked up a Q Idol Award at the magazine's annual awards bash yesterday, only be be called "bollocks" by fellow winners Arctic Monkeys. Ooooh, someone wash those boys' mouths out!
The Monkeys took home trophies in the Best Album and People's Choice categories. Their singer, Alex Turner, said of the reformed boyband:
"I'm not old enough to know a lot [about] them, but even I know that Take That were bollocks."
Noel Gallagher of Oasis - who won in the vategory of Best Act In The World Today - commented that a member of Take That had asked where his brother Liam was.
"One of Take That just said to me outside, 'Is your kid here?' and I went 'You'd have known about it if he was, mate'."

the Arctic Monkeys are my age, no?
I remember Take That
how many awards are there in this thing
i mean - really meaningless 'nothing' awards
'Award of Awards'??
Icon AND Idol award?
Inspiration award?
Groundbreaker award?
Legend award?
Merit award?
Innovation in Sound? THE EDGE?
so this awards ceremony is basically just to give EVERY SINGLE BAND they and their readers like an award of some form or another, even if they havent actually done anything of note for decades?
what the fuck
does 'award of awards' mean? don't U2 have enough awards already?
Take That
were good.
So they can all shut up.
vategory

Either way, Take That shit on almost every other pop band ever. I like the Monkeys, but DON'T FUCKING PUSH IT, TURNER, or there'll be claret.
"attracting the monkeys' attentions."

i'm struggling
to think of a great Take That song - maybe my memory's rubbish, or maybe they don't shit on everyone else (which is, in itself, a horrible image).
