Torche come to Europe; Rock Action-released album coming soon

Miami-based tres-rockin' four-piece Torche arrive in the UK later this month for some touring action.

The band's self-titled long-player, released Stateside through Robotic Empire last year, is to be released soon by Rock Action. The Glasgow-based label calls the quartet's sound 'Thunder Pop'. Sounds hella good to us!

The band play the following shows alongside Baroness...

October
26 Cork Fred Zeppelin's
27 Dublin Crawdaddy
28 Belfast Bunker
29 Glasgow Nice N Sleazy's
30 Sheffield Corporation
31 Manchester The Attic

November
1 Birmingham Medicine Bar
2 London Underworld
3 Nottingham The Maze
4 Brighton Engine Rooms

The band's ten-track debut will be reviewed on these here pages just as soon as we get it into our eager ears. The band's MySpace page is here.

I had totally forgotten about them

Til I saw this on the Underworld website last week. I found the album again and they were better than I remembered! I might have to go to this.

TORCHE

they are keeping the same kind of tone and aesthetic of Floor, but making it a bit psychadelic...Why not????I LIKE!

I'll be at the underworld!
