Signature Tune: new label, new website, new tunes!

First up, the label (named after a Cable song, dare we think?) will unleash unto the world the debut EP from Swedish outfit Caterpillar Ghost (pictured). The band feature a member of DiS-signed Jeniferever, and their EP is a sprawling, post-post-rock record of much loveliness. Expect a review here soon.
Coming shortly after are releases by Shots Fired - Reggie And The Full Effect's backing trio who've toured with The Icarus Line and have been compared to Husker Du - and The Little Explorer, whose last handmade 7" earned very tasty reviews from many magazines and websites, this one not excluded.

As of a coupla weeks ago. Band about to go into studio to record debut album. We're announcing it fully when they've got some shows/releases to announce and wotnot. -

It's not Caterpillar Ghost's debut, they had a CD out ages ago called Exit: The Embrace. Good band though, yet more stuff I'll have to buy! -

it's their frist proper release...evrything they've done before has been self released CDRS.....
anyhows, a tune off the Ep can be heard at www.myspace.com/signaturetune as can more from t'other when we get round to it....for now check out their individual sites, they all have good media sections...
oh, and *hopefully* we'll be getting caterpillar ghost over for a short tour later in the year -

oh, and the caterpillar ghost EP is avaliable for pre order now if anyone wnats one...they're limited to 500 copies so they should go pretty sharpish...(paypal £5 to tunes@signaturetune.co.uk or for cheques get the details off the site)
