Oasis versus Blur? Get with the times, U2...

Oasis and U2 are to go head to head next month, as their respective best-ofs are released on the same day.

November 20 sees both U2's 18 and Oasis' Stop The Clocks hit store shelves. The latter's Noel Gallagher (pictured) has told Irish magazine Hot Press that his band's collection will pip U2 to the album chart top spot.

Also released on November 20 are the new albums by Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg, so maybe neither rock act will reach the number one position. And then there's the new Guns N' Roses album... maybe...

Not a fan of Best Ofs..

But as this is Oasis's first one and not a cash in after having released a supposed "best of" double whammy fairly recently. Plus the Oasis one has better tunes

Ok...

U2 >>>>>>>>>> Oasis

I would prefer to listen to the Oasis one...

as U2 make me SICK i tells ya.

Nah.

Joshua tree > Definitely Maybe

:)

it's not much of a debate

should i lick vomit off a tramp's arm, or lick vomit off a tramp's leg?

True...

Fucked up the ass by Jeremy Beadle or fucked up the ass by Noel Edmunds?

beadle

at least if there were fingers involved they wouldn't go in as far!

Yeah

but he'd more likely to set up hidden cameras.

Jeremy Beadle happens to have a massive cock.

But then again on the other hand he has a really small one.

Another one>?

U2 already released a double best of a few years ago!

So if this new one doesnt have every single track from those dos that mean that we should now consider that best of to not be the best......*phew*

i think

beadle should pick the songs; with his good hand of course

er

does anyone even care about chart positions anymore? it's not as if getting in the charts is a sign of credibility.
