The Horrors: a pair of last-minute shows

The Horrors are a band. A band that sound a bit like Eighties Matchbox, albeit with all the fun removed. Still, some kids, they dig The Horrors, and since DiS is a public service an' all, here's some news about the band in question. The Horrors, you understand. Do try to keep up...
The five-piece - one of them recently attracted a fist to his face, y'know; it made the NME and everything - are to play a couple of capital city shows this weekend: one tonight, and another on Sunday. Yup yup yup...
Tonight's set will be seen and heard at Koko in Camden; it's Club NME's first birthday, so far as we know, and none other than the fella who's writing this 'ere article is disc-jockeying for a wee while. So don't trouble him when he's playing Venetian Snares' remix of 'The Beginning And The End'. Don't dance either, though - you will do yourself an injury.
T'other's at the Coronet Cinema on Sunday (September 24), and it's an Underage Club event.
The Horrors release a new single, 'Count In Fives', on October 30. It'll be available on two different seven-inch records... lolz.

I miss Eighties Matchbox
Not sure what to think of the new stuff like "I Hate The Blues" and "Love Turns To Hate"....Don't really like it.

Bands
like this make me angry. All hype, no tunes. Faris walked past me at Reading, he really does look like a twat.
breastfuck
They cover tracks by two of my favourite acts, to lame effect
