Cooper Temple Clause: End of Year Tour

Having spent most of the year slogging around America, including the Curiosa tour with The Cure, Interpol, etc... chart-wobblers The Cooper Temple Clause, hard at work writing album three, play a few shows in the lead up to Christmas.
30th November University, Warwick
1st December University, Bangor
2nd Met University, Leeds
Support for all three dates comes from Chikinki & Tom Vek. Plus the Coopers will be djing'n'drinking into the small hours. See coopertempleclause.co.uk for more details.

It's not exactly like we've reported after the shows have happened. Yes this is reported late, but it's also a slow news day and people are interested/unaware of the dates, etc.. tho I think they're nearly all sold out. -

i've had this argument with lots of people, but i prefer the second record. the first was full of great songs, as the singles leading up to it suggested, but in the end i don't think it gelled so well as a complete record. kick up the fire is extremely satisfying to listen to from start to finish... don't think i'll ever like promises promises but i love the rest of it, it's intense but avoids dramatic cliches, a v. moving record.

I still love the first album, it's so haunting, and i just love the 'depressing' album cover, suggesting "let's just kill ourselves". A year ago i fell madly in love with them, then Didz went and got hitched, and then they supported The Cure! as a result their credibility is on the slide,i'm afraid, that's why i have awarded them 3 and half stars.Don't get old before your time lads.Still dig the hair. -

The first album was amazing, a true tour de force, on the second album they just tried too hard to be credible songwriters etc and a bit of the wall blah blah blah and it just didnt work, the album is just a bit of a mess.....
moral: just do what you enjoy and never ever ever ever listen to what the record company say.....
they will be back on form I reckon -

Tonight in Bangor, here goes, I'll be fucking pissed off if theres a low attendance, People complain about there not being enough gigs in Bangor, & when they do actually come they don't show up. Come on, what else you gonna do, Go The Octagon? -
