Scottish loud-quiet-LOUDER rockers Aereogramme have signed a new deal with Undergroove.
The first fruit of the relationship will be an EP, 'Seclusion', due in September. Featuring five new tracks, as well as a film and sound score, the record will come wrapped in artwork designed by Isis' Aaron Turner. Nice.
Aereogramme bassist Campbell McNeil said: "We're excited to be working with Undergroove - a label that champions creative freedom, intelligent rock and beards sillier than ours."

Worst live band ever my butt crack!!
Unless they're the only band you've ever seen??
I'm hoping now that they'll get the promotion they deserve and hopefully a bit of extra cash.

Re: Aereogramme sign new deal
thing about aereogramme is, they're so hit and miss. i've seen shows that absolutely blew my mind, and on other occasions they've been horribly mediocre. it's a shame, because when they're on form they're fantastic.

sigh so wrong in multiple ways
Re: Aereogramme sign new deal
I've seen em twice, the first time is still one of the best live performances I've ever seen.
The second time wasn't quite as good but still fantastic.
Can't wait for the new stuff

I guess the're very good at what they do but whoever booked them to play between Million Dead and Thursday deserves to be shot... wrong time, wrong place..
Re: Aereogramme sign new deal
And the new record was a bit on the poor side. Nothing remotely as good as "post tour, pre judgement".
Re: Aereogramme sign new deal
when the hell did they play with thursday and million dead?! does strike me as slightly odd...

think I like Aeroegramme but need to listen to some more. Any suggestions ?
Re: Aereogramme sign new deal
Well they only have 2 albums and a few EP, so all of it really.
The albums Sleep and Release and A Story in White are essential though.
For individual tracks Pre Tour Post Judgement must be their best track

Re: Aereogramme sign new deal
I can't begin to disagree more! Both albums are absolutely fantastic, but the second one is so obviously slightly more fantastic. Shame on you for having a different opinion to me!
