Uhm, Annie Nightingale, Discuss.
a while ago. It was fun and despite her complete lack of skills that most people attribute to a DJ it was quite a life-affirming experience. So many people were just glad to have her there and despite her lack of mixing, she played some great breakbeat tunes.
i didn't see her at Bestival but apparently she was using only one of the turntables and taking each one off after it had finished and neatly putting it back in its sleeve before starting the next track :)
and scratch DJ, seeing someone who you, musically, really respect play a series of tunes of their choice is a great experience.
which reminds me, i wanted to see Peel at Fabric :(
but he used to be alive, see?
i'll believe it when i see it.
