Music Social More…

adverts these days.

hedgehog [Edit] [Delete] 14 replies 23:28, 6 July '06

Now is it just me or...
*every second advert appears to be about athletes foot.
*every advert is so badly dubbed you can't even tell who's supposed to be speaking.
*and a lot of adverts are trying to incorporate music into them eg. the banks adverts (been happening for a long time now), AA adverts, frosties, etc.

What's happened to advertisement?!?!

    • stop watching TV

or just watch the BBC for about a month, and then hit yourself with daytime ITV.

      It's like LSD.

    • heh

i have loads of old WWF events from the mid 90s on video, and when i was recording them i'd always make sure to leave in one advert break for this very reason...

    • Aye

which means I have at least 10 years experience of watching adverts =p

plus I've seen older older adverts doing media at school, plus the 100 greatest adverts of all time or something...

and yes I talk like an 80 year old pensioner...

      • I think Tony the Tiger

must've sprinkled crack on that boy's Frosties. No cereal can make anyone that happy.

    • I love those catchy jingles

on adverts! I think it's because I don't watch TV that often, so I can putup with them and think they're great.

I've only seen that Frosties advert once and thought it was grrrreat.
