Just thought I'd ask...
I wish they would though.
but being clean-shaven is lovely.
it's a pain in the, er, face.
with soap and a bic, no. This is how you must think George Orwell must have felt for the last 6 years of his life. Or Primo Levi
2 days growth. sadly i can't stay this way.
i don't mind shaving, it just takes 5 minutes and is easy.
the actually shaving bit is rubbish, but it does feel good after...
it's a pain in the arse but it's better than being all beardy i guess.
you have to shave your beardy arse?
uhm, i used to but now it's kind of a pain. Plus it's starting to irritate my skin and give me icky skin.
Maybe i could employ someone to shave me.
faeces.. goodness... how's the move gone, anyhooo??
i thought you were going to offer to shave my face then, ah well.
I use Nivea Gel for sensitive skin and I don't get any irritations or owt. And a Mach 3 razor is essential. I shave once all downstrokes and then once all upstrokes and then I have a shower usually.
I've never worn aftershave in my life.
and moisturise your face after the shower.
Tip from the 'Pot.
Well i use aftershave balm, which in my faux-metrosexual way of thinking is the same thing.
thats usually why i leave it as long as possible before i decide to do it, although i do like the look of me when i am cleanly shaven.
Not at all.
Which is why I only shave one in every 4-5 days and spend half of my life looking like I've had a heavy night. Which, let's face it, I probably have.
i usually shave once a week, now i seem to have to do once every 6 days. that's like EIGHT extra shaves a year.
I just caved and so now am nice and smooth faced. I love it! Its so relaxing, put a bit of music on and treat your face. And now I feel all clean and fresh!
annoys the shit out of me
since i got rid of my beard, i only shave when i have to go out in public
if i don't shave all the time, i have a phat-ass beard. but i can't be bothered/get up too late for that.
*shakes fist at god*
i ought to start learning to bend the right way...
It's fun becuase it's slightly dangerous
I shave my neck too
actually, i don't shave on weekday mornings before work usually because i'm not with it enough...
Otherwise it's like your head's propped up on a welcome mat.
but I hate having even a couple of days worth of beard, so I shave every day.
simply because it will stop me looking like so much shit.
it can be very satisfying, but my general bearded state is a result of just hating the chore of doing it for 20 minutes every fucking day
It takes barely a minute with a sharp razor and good soap
straight from the shower and it is easy.
i prefer a couple of days growth, but it's hardly worth bothering about.
hairless all over then?
My father was a lizard and was mean to David Icke
mainly just cos i like carter usm.
it takes me 20 minutes or so because i do it so irregularly, and i have pretty stubborn facial hair.
so if i was doing it every day it would take about 3 minutes, yes.
also , its just an estimate.
i can't let this pass without a LOL or somesuch.
Depends how fussy i'm feeling about getting a really close shave.
And its all about King of Shaves by the way. Pre-Shave facial scrub, King of Shave Shaving Gel and then Post-Shave cleansing shit.
ha ha - lolarama
that's why i prefer to use "shirt-lifter".
you always feel a bit 'dirty' afterwards
result in six to eight hours of blood and screaming?
time waster and only done in emergancies ie on holiday when you can't get to a proper waxing facility or something like that.
girl's legs in the past too...
i have actually shaved a man's face before - and waxed a man's back!!! (gay friend)
an ex-girlfriend shaved my face once as well, scariest moment of my life!
a girl I knew to let me shave her somewhere.
She said no. I'm sure i would have done a competent job...
your face and neck can breathe again but I can never be arsed to actually shave which is why I walk around with horrible bum fluff all over my chin and my neck most of the time.
...where can one sign up for this?
shaved my face once. It was quite scary, and she was pressing too hard so it was stinging a bit after.
as such, I have a beard.
...but it's quite satisfying once you've done it. It's a bit like cleaning the house or emptying the bins of vacuuming - i.e. you dread the idea of doing it, don't especially enjoy doing it but once you've done it you feel pretty good about yourself.
That said I've recently grown a beard. I couldn't be bothered to shave for a few days and then I suddenly realised that - despite my assumptions - I was capable of growing facial hair. People kept complementing me on my beard so now, apart from the odd tidy-up now and then, I've stopped shaving for the time being.
I mean I'm not sure I look 'wicked' per se but, combined with letting my hair grow a bit at the same time, it definitely is a look that's got a certain something to it.
Thus I'm always carrying two or three days of growth. When I've gone past that 'hobo chic' stage, I'll trim it down with an electric razor. A clean shaven face = ghastly. It feels all rubbery and just... wrong
DoveFact: I have clean shaven twice in the last three years. Once for a job interview, and once for a funeral
i havent had a clean shave in over a year, i just trim it down every couple of days, much easier
every few months really. i wait until it's ridiculously long and then chop my beard off. i don't like having a clean shaved face as i've got horrible horrible skin.
i shaved on wednesday and it's already pretty long again. it'll be just the right amount of face coverage for truck while also not being too minging.
The timing of a shave is paramount. The same applies with me when it comes to washing my hair. If I wash it on the day of a night out, I can't get my bastard hair right
Not that I'm a tart or owt
Is the way for me. Once in a while I'll go clean shaven and feel a bit odd... I prefer a bit of stubble but think it depends on the face!
I'd grow a beard only I can't grow a proper one.
Women have more places to shave. Again, men win mwahahahaha
it's quite cathartic when you shave your entire head. and you get to do WICKED father christmas impressions when you're covered in shaving foam.*
*head only... dirty birdies.
Though in this weather it might not be a bad way of keeping cool. I quite like the ritual of shaving when I actually do it, though I'd be happier if I didn't have to.
It can be relaxing but it's not to be rushed. I only shave about once a week though.
You feel like Beckham when you make it glide off your face. Then smile afterwards.
But actually no, because my face feels like leather after.
I hate shaving. Hate it hate it hate it.
I hate having a beard, too
You could try waxing your face. I hear it's very painful.
