Further evidence of the eminent collapse of western civilisation.
...I mean at least things like "Golden Touch" and "Don't Go Back To Dalston" were catchy radio-friendly pop songs (even if not exactly the world-changing genuius Mr Borrell seemed to think) but the new single just isn't very catchy at all.
have run out of Cure riffs to rip off. They are no longer for this world. I hope.
but their new song is CRAP.
borrell finally discovers orange juice but replaces all their lyrics with crap ones. must try harder.

but then again, i thought that about gwen stefani's hollaback girl on first listen... boy was i wrong.
when she sings "banana-yanas" she sounds like she has cerebral palsy
If they didn't have that frontman, someone could make a catchy song of what is there without him. He just brings everything down.
if it wasnt for the vocals, id quite like it
This single is so average...
new single is a bore. when it gets to the chorus you're left thinking that there should be enough bit where it gets exciting, but then it just goes back to the verse again. yawn. lyrics are very predictable and tired too.
the lyrics in the chorus are lifted straight from the song Kirby's House that they did for the Help album.
One of those friends isn't called Johnny Borrell by any chance is he?
