I don't have a tv guide and missed the start of the show.. who else is on it tonight, please..?
I'll be interested in hearing her interview
Razorlight, and someone else.
Class, I'm there...
A part of me cringes in horror and the other part is kinda proud.
Bigger than Dame Edna?
Flip flops (which we call thongs)?
I'm stuck now...
HOme and Away
Mad Max series
men at work
fosters and XXX
wallabies (they live wild in some parts of bedfordshire now)
G-A-Y soon, anyone wanna go? ...no
"A mix of music and celebrity chat with Jonathan Ross. Guests include actress ANJELICA HUSTON, McFLY AND ROLF HARRIS"
MCFLY and ROFL HARRIS. amazing.
you can watch the start, its not started here yet so youve got 15 mins
he didnt even know the violent femmes blister in the sun song that opened the show.
I know! I was amaaaaaazed, but then I am rather drunk.
If you're not careful I may tell you the long and boring story of the first time I danced to that song.
he is a fan of They Might Be Giants, so can be let off just this once.
in my household at least, he is most famous for loving David Bowie.
is quite a massive fan of TMBG
this show's been quite good so far. I do like mclfy
or I'll fuckin' 'ave yiz.
He's one of those people that talks really slow as if what they are saying is of great import. Like they are teaching an essential lesson to children. When actually telling a totally fucking dull anecdote about some shitty painting of the bloody boring queen.
can ANYONE dislike Rolf Harris that much? Man, that's funny.
He is just slow. And you can't argue with a guy that has inspired kids to draw and be creative.
'Try it yerself'
I thought this was hypothetical..
and you say that but yeah fuck, that sorta got me kick started my interest in drawing.
still, needs to put down that fucking wibbly board don't he?
On the plus side this has lead him to set up a fantastic club night with music & painting & arts & crafts & stuff. It's a really fun night out so I feel Rolf Harris has had at least one positive impact on my life.
and admit I have cried watching Animal Hospital before (in private)... er... and yeah, the guy can paint.. but BLOODY HELL, the 1950s persona can be dropped. I dunno - have mixed views on Australia as it is...
*for the record I am from Australia.
of my friends said that Rolf and his wife came into a shop in Maidstone (Salamander for those in the area) and was chatting to this girl for ages about magic mushrooms. Which would explain a lot...
but there isn't anything wrong with that (although mushromms are kinda lethal if you have too many)
just seemed odd
for your life to immitate your art and for it to be a cartoon cliche of yourself and everything your grandad has ever done to embarass himself rolled into one long drone of irony.
simply to provoke.
Sorry - bloody outburst there (on nxt week on J ROSS)
they are ABOUT to be.
Sorry - I find the Zutons so fuckingly mindboringly numbing I want to commit suicide.. I saw them once at a small gig two years ago (friends party) and they were shit. I saw them at Brixton and they were shit. I have seen them on TV a number of times and still think they are utterly fucking boring..
In fact, they really get on my nerves.
Time for a tea or something.
...I'm genuinely sorry about this fact. It's trying way too hard to sound like some kind of classic pop song and it's derivative and probably really annoying but it gets my foot tapping and the chorus sticks in my head.
It's like when you fancy someone a bit despite knowing you really, really shouldn't.
Tell you what - I'll try not to like any Zutons songs in the future. I'm pretty confident I'll succeed!
but ok - you are off the hook - for now
zutons are on friday night project like right now..
for no good reason either.
Pete Doherty, apparently, though probably not cos he won't turn up. If he does it could be DID YOU SEE? proper cringeworthy TV. Hmm.
don't mcfly just play. they're well better
though their song for sport relief sounded a bit cack, but that was more than made up for by their performance of the boys are back in town... a true gem.
