hello. i want to buy an accoustic guitar to learn on, about 130 quid? Does anyone have any recommendations?
geta butaway neck
Electro acoustic would be better.
Go to Denmar Street or ebay.
END OF TRANSMITION
Yamaha are probably the make to go for if you're after a steel string acoutsic and yeah, don't worry about an electro acoustic. Instead get a wooody pickup or a rare-earth at a later date.
By the way, string a steel string guitar with electric strings. They're nicer to play and they stay sounding good longer. Get 11s with a wound G-string.
buying a Tanglewood then moving up to a better Tanglewood. I got one of their entry level ones around sixteen years ago then got one of these earlier in the year and it's nothing short of amazing at the price paid.
Yeah, I actually find most acoustics really hard to play compared to electric cause I have tiny shit hands. So electric is fine, plus you can mask rubbish early learning playing with effects and noise (or even if you never learn to play that well you can still use it to make noise)
a Yamaha solid guitar not even plugged in. It was fine to learn with.
