such definitions seem clear at the outset but are corrupted come the conclusion
in the cinema at the moment, "Hard Candy" which follows a similar premise and, according to the review I read, challenges the view on who is the victim/sexual predator in the situation
I like it as a study of obsession. I like how he draws Humpbert as such a pompous oaf who crumbles completely into a strange sort of fantasy world. There's a lot of humanity in his weakness.
I'm not sure what the intention of it all was. I have thought in the past that it could be some kind intellectual joke.
