i'm not. at least its free.
and i get to go to the "blueroom". i might burn it down
1) I'm seeing SFA for the first time in ages,
2) you might be the first DiSer to meet IndieAndy_Jones (he's like well cool)
Actually I'm not that excited by it. Just look forward to seeing SFA (did I mention that yet)
What is the Blueroom? is that VIP?
is where all the 'blue' things go on, after 9pm
Bob Mould at 7.00, White Rose Movement at 8.15 (perhaps NOT). Fuck it, free day out in the park. If it blows, you goes, no?
Oh £3 a pint... SMUGGLE!
alcomofrol in with you now (despite what it says on the ticket). So long as it's not glass obviously
the acoustic stage headliner is still TBC. not much time left is there O2!
and yes, indie andy and i may well meet!
btw indie - i'm not going to guillis anymore. er??????
doesn't fill me with confidence - I feel it might be a bit of a shambles.
don't worry about the guillis, if I can't find you I'll get them to put an announcement out over the PA or summat
I'm off there in a minute myself, mainly as it's close and I'm thirsty. Friday should be pretty nice though, DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, Nathan (Gnarls) Barkley (possibly good), bit of Metric. Still, Strokes might not chow too much, never know.
on the radio, 20000 people expected at the Wireless festival (4 stages?)
there was anything from 60000-85000 there for the Foo Fighters (1 Stage!)
it's going to look SO empty?!
they've obviously been struggling to sell tickets (hence the free and cut-price ones turning up). I think the World Cup might be to blame.
possibly the biggest shambles of a festival.
loads more acts TBC (still!)
i bet it doesn't happen next year.
Capital Radio listeners have a massive spending power, some of these days have done pretty well.
i'm heading out there now, the weather's nice, i'll have a few beers and dance to B&S in the Park...so yeah should be a good day out.
Those who are going - enjoy :)
