mwhahahaha, at least he wont play for the scum for a while
this is a good example
sorry but ya know im sure others understand
But sometimes I find your attitude a bit...well, fucking stupid.
why? who gives a shit about england anyway? i care far more about sunderland
if we're playing shit and winning. We will turn it on in the quarters
it's more likely that we'll scrape past Ecuador and then get a good spanking from the Dutch in the next round
Ooh, a good spanking from the Dutch.
Did I tell you about that time I was in Amsterdam?
so fuck off
or any player for that matter, is seriously injured? It's not funny in the slightest.
to such a ridiculous degree.
id rather see newcastle do shit than england win the world cup so yes it is hilarious. Hes just done his cartilage for fuck sake its not like hes in intensive care
fans never have the right to laugh at anybody in football subjects...
(and being unbiased)
...while living out your pointless Championship-based existence I guess.
Don't make this about the Championship, it's the only thing that matters to some of us...
It is a bit of a push to be happy about an injury. The bloke was obviously in a helluva lot of pain on the pitch last night, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Cissé broke his leg before the World Cup, that must have brought a smile to your face
lads, i was just taking the piss. I wouldnt want to see anyone injured but i would say its a nice consolation that he wont be able to play for newcastle. There was me thinking that most things posted on this board were just tongue in cheek.
then read mine. Durrrbrain.
is a deadly serious business.
"You need at least eight or nine men in a ten man wall"
We don't laugh when one of our best players is out for the rest of the world's biggest football tournament.
No sir, we do not laugh at all.
but I can't now. Thanks a lot Marco.
but how would you expect us to react, considering most of us are England fans and not Sunderland fans?
I'm actually sad that he's injured, regardless of his contribution of the world cup so far, do you want me to pretend otherwise?
in a patriotic statement of love?
maybe i actually should.
"yes it is hilarious. Hes just done his cartilage for fuck sake its not like hes in intensive care"
I reckon Michael Owen would say yes
that impressed with the Dutch so far.
I say England will win it.
to think they can't.
I see Three good results, I see three games in which England were the better team, and won despite the problems.
England have improved in every game. Rooney has improved every game.
I see only Argentina in form and looking formidable. I think England will win
I haven't said England will win every game 10-0
I think England will win. Call that blinkered if you will.
I think I will then!
seem that you think anyone who thinks a team apart from Argentina will win is blinkered.
I haven't said England will win imperiously. I admit to Englands faults.
How the fuck am I being blinkered?
I was mostly joshing.
I just don't think you can sweep England's dire performances under the carpet so easy.
HOW THE FUCK is fullerov being blinkered???
There are many reasons they can't, unless they drastically sort themselves out.
I still think you are missing the point. I didn't say I see no reason England WON'T win the cup, only that there is no reason they can't win the cup.
They are improving
it sort of matters to certain regions of my heart and loyalties.
I'm just gutted for Michael. He's such a nice normal guy who puts his country far ahead of his club (which i'm sure is annoying for his clubs fans over time) and I really wanted him to do well. Bless him. Along with David Beckham he deserves an international trophy at sometime.
...poor Michael. Why does nothing go right for him?
I honestly believe he would still be England's best striker if all these injuries hadn't made him less good.
Bloody World Cup!! It will be a lot more than 5 months too, believe me.....
Still, our back-up strikers would walk into Sunderland's first team. And I mean walk, it's all they're good for..
I don't think this will make much difference to England's chances, given that he was only half-fit and in poor form anyway, but... anyone want to loan us two decent strikers for next season?
unlike Theo Walcott...
ha. As long as they don't go after Kuyt, we need him more...
It's a joke the way Sven picks his squads. Remember Walcott plays for Arsenal now. Sven probably didnt have a clue who he was until he moved there.
Bent should have gone to Germany, as well as Defoe. 5 strikers with Walcott still at home but have been what I would have done.
if all Newcastle's players were overlooked for the England squad. We don't need any help in getting our players injured. If Parker hadn't been injured he would have been probably in and around the squad.
and stay there for all I care
although he had a good last few months of the season. Gone to West Ham now anyway..
Chris Sutton once cost Chelsea 10 million quid.
...or maybe Darren Anderton
oh wait wrong thread...
he's a write-off for next season, think how long till he properly recovers, if he ever does..
Freddie has to break the bank again.
